Every Blogger's Dream

First off, I have been a bad blogger by not writing very much lately. I was in Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico and I was not very inspired by my time there. I found the people to be a little snobby, with no sense of humor, and very conservative. I made a lot of wonderful foreigner (mostly gringo) friends, but not any Mexican friends. I spent a lot of time in Mexico City. So, basically my time was devoid of inspiration, a fickle thing for me either way, and I didn't get much writing done.

I did, however, mangae to get a couple things published. I had an article published in an amazing English language magazine out of Zihuatanejo, Mexico. The magazine is extremely well designed and put together. Although its main audience is ex-pats living in Mexico, I think it does its part in educating about all things Mexican. The magazine is called Another Day in Paradise and their website is:

www.adip.info

But, in other HUGE news, I was published in an actual book. The travel website/online community World Nomads published their first book compiling the best travel stories and photos of the year. It has just recently become available for purchase on their website. It seems to be a coffee table book and the photos they have posted on the site are incredible. Us writers and photographers only earn the profits from the sale of the book, so I am totally plugging the book. Buy it and support me, your soon to be favorite starving traveling writer.

LOOK AT THE BOOK

Thank you for reading or clicking the link. More will come soon. I am going to Puerto Rico this summer to work with teens and then I am driving down to Mexico. So more and more stories will come.
